Affiliate resources Quick start

Your first promotion, start to finish, in about ten minutes

Seven short steps take you from a new account to a first email or post, with a plan for each channel underneath.

  1. Read the rules about 2 minutes

The short version: send ads to your own site, keep our brand name out of your ads, tell readers you earn a commission, and never promise a result.

  2. Save your link about a minute

Type your ClickBank nickname on the links page. Every email, post and banner code in the area then carries your link.

  3. Pick one swipe that suits your readers about 3 minutes

Readers in an active crisis suit the seven mistakes series. Readers whose marriage is drifting suit the Love Bank and the couple rituals. Readers who aren't ready to buy suit the free course invitations.

  4. Make it yours about 5 minutes

Swap the line in square brackets for one true sentence of your own, add your first-name tag and sign with your own name.

  5. Send it or post it about a minute

Give it a tracking ID such as email1 or blogreview so your ClickBank reports show where the sale came from.

  6. Check your ClickBank account after a day a minute

Look at clicks and sales by tracking ID, and note which subject line or post did best.

  7. Send the next email in the series 24 to 48 hours later

The emails in each series are written to follow one another, so a reader who didn't click the first time meets a new idea the second time.

A plan for each way you reach your readers

Pick the channel you use most. Each plan names the best assets, a sending rhythm, three hooks, the most common mistake and the compliance point to remember.

Email list

Best assets
The seven mistakes series, then the free course invitations for readers who didn't buy.
Rhythm
One email every two days for the series, then one short email a week.
Hooks that suit this niche
  • "Everything I do seems to make it worse"
  • Don't suggest this while you both think
  • The sentence that cancels a kind act
Common mistake
Sending one email and stopping. Readers often need to meet an idea more than once before they act.
Compliance
Only mail people who signed up to your list, keep the disclosure line, and include your unsubscribe link.

Blog and search

Best assets
The review article and the seven mistakes article, with the product images and a 300x250 banner beside them.
Rhythm
Publish the review, then a new how-to article every week or two that links back to it.
Hooks that suit this niche
  • Save My Marriage Today! review: what's inside and who it suits
  • 7 mistakes that push a spouse further away
  • What "I'm not in love with you" really means
Common mistake
Publishing the articles exactly as they are. Add your own experience and photos so the page is worth reading.
Compliance
Put the disclosure at the top of the page and next to the first link.

YouTube and podcasts

Best assets
The short video scripts, the YouTube description block and the review article as talking points.
Rhythm
One review video, then short tip videos on single ideas, such as the Love Bank or the trial separation mistake.
Hooks that suit this niche
  • When your spouse says they want out, your first words matter more than you think
  • One sentence can cancel every kind thing you do
  • Why a trial separation backfires
Common mistake
Hiding the link in a long description. Put it in the first two lines and in a pinned comment.
Compliance
Say the disclosure out loud early in the video, and tick the paid promotion box.

Pinterest

Best assets
The three pins, sent to your own review or tips page where you can.
Rhythm
A few fresh pins a week across your marriage and relationship boards.
Hooks that suit this niche
  • 7 mistakes to avoid when your marriage is in crisis
  • Don't start the talk with "We need to talk"
  • The 6 most common reasons for divorce
Common mistake
Pinning the same image again and again. Make a new image for each pin title.
Compliance
Add #ad or "affiliate link" to each pin description.

Instagram, TikTok and Reels

Best assets
The carousel, the captions and the short video scripts, with your link in your bio.
Rhythm
Two or three posts a week, each built on one idea from the course.
Hooks that suit this niche
  • "I love you, but I'm not in love with you"
  • One sentence can cancel every kind thing you do
  • 7 mistakes people make when their marriage is in crisis
Common mistake
Talking about the course before the idea. Lead with the idea; the course comes at the end.
Compliance
Start each caption with #ad or switch on the paid-partnership label.

Facebook groups and forums

Best assets
The Facebook posts and the free course invitation.
Rhythm
Answer questions first. Share a post only where the group's rules allow it.
Hooks that suit this niche
  • Which matters more to you, being right or being together?
  • Mary's husband kept forgetting the groceries
  • Your marriage could use a ritual
Common mistake
Dropping a link into a thread about someone's pain. Help first, and share the free course only if it fits.
Compliance
Read each group's rules, and say plainly that your link is an affiliate link.

Paid search and social ads

Best assets
The keyword lists, the ad copy and the negative keywords, sent to your own page.
Rhythm
Start with a small test budget and change one thing at a time.
Hooks that suit this niche
  • Marriage in crisis? Avoid these 7 mistakes
  • When your spouse wants a divorce and you don't
  • Save your marriage, even if only you are trying
Common mistake
Bidding on our brand name or sending ads straight to your HopLink. Both break the rules.
Compliance
Write to us for a website review before you start Google or Bing ads.
